Digital Divide

We have been talking recently about the revolution tablet computers and similar devices have begun for art making and digital creativity.
We have discussed issues of freedom, portability and access. 

Taboo Gallery is a direct response to the myriad divisions of public and private, artist and institution, artist and audience, institution and audience, audience and art making process, etc.

All of these things are indeed exciting and at the forefront of the current climate. I do however remain acutely aware of the increasing digital divide. (more...)
